Dr Tang Lok Yin, as a producer, with her experience and extensive network in the music scene, collaborated with different art groups and production as producer since 2009 such as the contemporary and multimedia production: Hong Kong Arts Festival commissioned Opera “Tree Rhapsody” 2011, New Vision Arts Festival  "Mr Vampire" 2010 (rerun 2011), Hong Kong Dance Company and Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra co-production “Evacuation Order for dance theatre” 2012 “The Saxophone and Orchestra of Laptops piece “Neutron Star” 2013 and Jean M Wong School of Ballet production “Take 55” 2015 etc. 

As a composer, Tang's works achieve mastery in both Chinese and Western music, covering instrumental, dance and operatic music. Her works have been frequently performed all over the world since 2002 including Germany, France, Belgium, Denmark, Poland, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore and China where she won critical acclaim. 

Dr Lokyin Tang also works with educators to promote music education in Hong Kong including master class in universities and education institutions, scores publishing for Hong Kong Schools Music Festival, and Radio Program. In 2012, the program “Music from China” and Hong Kong’s Modern Sound” was broadcasted in Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK).
